University leaders attended the graduation ceremony of the second Digital Trade Practical Training Class of the School of Economics.

On the morning of December 23, the graduation ceremony for the second Digital Trade Practical Training Class of the School of Economics was held in Yiwu. Gao Wen, member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Supervisor of the university, and Xing Gang, founder and chairman of Yiwu K World Import And Export Company, attended the graduation ceremony. Relevant personnel from the university and the company, as well as the 20 students who successfully graduated, participated in the graduation activities.

Gao Wen, representing the school, delivered a speech, expressing heartfelt gratitude to Yiwu K World Import And Export Company for its strong support and congratulating all the students on their successful graduation. She pointed out that against the backdrop of numerous challenges facing college graduates in employment, the fact that this practical training class achieved “full employment contracts” is a vivid manifestation of the school’s application-oriented educational positioning, which is “market-demand oriented and competency-based.” This collaborative digital trade practical training class is a bold attempt to break the disconnect between talent cultivation and industry needs, and an effective exploration to promote the deep integration of the education chain, talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain.

Gao Wen offered three hopes to all students: First, to be grateful for the platform provided by the times, the school, and the company; second, to persist in lifelong learning, continuously improve professional skills, and adapt to industry development; and third, to be courageous and responsible, integrating personal ideals into the overall development of the country and contributing youthful strength to my country’s digital trade cause. She encouraged everyone to cherish the opportunity, move forward with gratitude, integrate the spirit of the school motto into their work practice, and stand at the forefront of the digital trade wave.

Xing Gang, representing the company, extended warm congratulations on the successful completion of this practical training program and highly praised the students’ growth. He stated that Yiwu K World Import And Export Company, as a trading company rooted in the Yiwu market, deeply participates in the entire talent development process, providing students with a truly practical platform, which is a concrete action of the company giving back to education and fulfilling its social responsibility. He expressed his hope to further expand the breadth and depth of cooperation with our school and jointly create a benchmark for school-enterprise collaborative education.

This practical training program ultimately secured 302 orders, achieving a total sales volume of $150,000, with the highest single order reaching $7,665. During the graduation ceremony, a short retrospective video vividly showcased the trainees’ growth from workplace novices to skilled professionals; Liang Jie, the project executive manager of Yiwu K World Import And Export Company, presented data demonstrating the trainees’ practical achievements and development potential.

The event also included a plaque-awarding ceremony for the “Tongling University Internship and Training Base.”

It is understood that this practical training program constructed a three-pronged training model of “public training + personalized mentoring + safety escort,” implementing dual-line guidance from “corporate mentors + university teachers” and collaborative support from “corporate HR + university counselors,” comprehensively assisting trainees’ growth. The trainees who participated in the practical training truly achieved “graduation equals employment, and employment equals proficiency.”
